Born along the wild Antrim coast, just a short distance from the iconic basalt columns of the Giant’s Causeway, Basalt Volcanic Rock Gin 42.1% ABV embodies the essence of a landscape shaped by volcanic fire and the power of the ocean.
Distilled in Northern Ireland, it uses water naturally filtered through more than 180 metres of basalt rock and is created using a modern, scientific approach: every microsecond, milligram and millilitre is measured with precision to ensure the highest quality.
The recipe includes 13 carefully selected botanicals, including juniper, cardamom, cubeb, ginger, cassia, buckwheat and lemon verbena. The most distinctive notes come from botanicals inspired by the coastal regions of Northern Ireland: Kombu Royale seaweed, which brings a delicate savoury character with mentholated nuances, and sea buckthorn, characterised by a tangy edge ande and a light fruity sweetness that enriches the aromatic profile.
The result is a balanced, bright and contemporary gin, in which saline, citrus and spicy notes blend harmoniously. Presented in a bottle inspired by the iconic hexagonal basalt stones, it is perfect enjoyed neat or as a premium base for cocktails such as Gin & Tonic and Martini.

Colour: Clear, crystal clear.
Nose: Fresh citrus aromas open the olfactory profile, followed by well-defined, earthy juniper. Herbaceous hints then emerge, alongside spicy notes and a delicate saline nuance that recalls the sea breeze.
Palate: Dry and structured, showing a balance between fresh citrus notes and the depth of juniper. Spices such as cassia, cardamom and ginger add warmth and softness, while a touch of sea buckthorn introduces a light fruity acidity. Buckwheat contributes roundness and overall harmony.
Finish: The finish develops with returning warm spicy notes and citrus, while a very subtle saline note closes the experience, enhancing the gin’s mineral character.
