The Jawbox Small Batch Gin is a handcrafted Irish gin produced on the Ards Peninsula, near Belfast in Northern Ireland.
Distilled in small batches at the Echlinville Distillery, this gin faithfully follows the classic London Dry style, standing out for its use of eleven botanicals, most notably Black Mountain heather — a native plant that pays tribute to its place of origin.
The combination of botanicals gives the gin a complex and balanced aromatic profile, dominated by juniper and citrus, enriched with spicy and floral nuances. Production takes place in traditional copper pot stills, using a distillation method that combines “steep and boil” (maceration and boiling) for most botanicals, with vapor infusion for three of the more delicate ingredients, in order to best preserve their volatile aromas.
The result is a gin with a bold yet refined character, perfectly representing the craftsmanship and botanical heritage of Northern Ireland.

The supporting botanicals reveal themselves discreetly yet effectively, adding depth and harmony.
