Born on the remote Scottish island of Harris, in the Outer Hebrides, Isle of Harris Gin is a spirit that captures the wild and authentic soul of the Hebridean landscape.
Produced by the Isle of Harris Distillery in Tarbert, this artisanal gin was created with the aim of supporting the local community, blending tradition, innovation and a strong sense of place. Its signature botanical is Sugar Kelp, hand-harvested in the pristine waters surrounding the island, which imparts a distinctive maritime note, saline and slightly mineral. Combined with eight other classic botanicals – juniper, cassia bark, coriander seed, angelica root, bitter orange peel, cubeb pepper, licorice root and orris root – Isle of Harris Gin stands out for its balance of fresh citrus, gentle spices and a coastal, balsamic depth.
More than a gin, it is a tribute to the island’s landscape, sea and people. A true expression of the most authentic Scotland.

Colour: Clear, crystalline.
Nose: Opens with fresh notes of juniper and pine needles, followed by a delicate citrus profile. Subtle floral hints and salty undertones highlight the influence of Sugar Kelp, lending depth, identity and an elegant maritime complexity.
Palate: Fresh, dry and precise. The sip begins on a classic base of juniper and pine, enriched by juicy fruit tones that add roundness to the gin’s dry character. Mid-palate reveals a gentle yet distinctive umami note from the Sugar Kelp, contributing to a refined mineral character. The balance between herbal, citrus and maritime elements is both harmonious and elegant.
Finish: Long and layered, the finish opens with a crescendo of warm black pepper and a delicate touch of vanilla, blending seamlessly into a clean closure. A refined saline and spicy echo lingers on the palate, leaving a fresh, precise and satisfying impression.
