A family distillery. Facing the Atlantic, on the far western edge of Scotland, you will find our home, our distillery. Distilled and bottled on the remote Scottish Isle of Barra, our gin carries a piece of our home in every bottle. Every story has two sides, and ours is no exception. The Isle of Barra is our family home, from which we were away for some time. A courageous spirit brought us back. The desire to return to our roots and create the westernmost distillery in Scotland. To build our family here, on the edge of the Atlantic, the immense ocean that many of our brave ancestors crossed, often leaving everything behind.

We are fortunate. Many cannot return home. That is why we started our charitable foundation: to create opportunities so that more families can consider Barra their home. That is why we support the Corncrake, an endangered bird species that returns to Barra every summer to nest and start its family. That is why we celebrate the concept of home. By creating the true taste of Barra, sharing the best of our island, home and beyond, with family at the center. There are two sides to the story of Isle of Barra Distillers, with the wild Atlantic to the west and the calm Sound of Barra to the east.

The Barra Atlantic Gin is crafted with 17 hand-selected botanicals. Each botanical plays an important role in the gin, creating a unique and distinctive flavor that embodies the bold spirit of the island. Harvested from the shores of remote Barra, Carrageen Seaweed provides a pronounced maritime flavor, with a mentholated touch and a hint of salty sea air.
