Silent Pool Rare Citrus Gin (43% - 700ml)

The Silent Pool Rare Citrus Gin is a sensory journey that combines the artisanal tradition of the Surrey Hills distillery with the discovery of some of the rarest citrus fruits in the world.

The Silent Pool team traveled to Portugal, exploring a collection of 360 varieties and selecting four extraordinary fruits: Buddha’s Hand, Natsu Dai Dai (a hybrid between orange and pomelo), Hirado Buntan (a pomelo variety), and Seville Orange. These lend the distillate a remarkable complexity—fresh, bright, and layered—without ever overshadowing the bold character of juniper.

To best harmonize these exceptional citrus notes, the recipe was redesigned: out of 22 botanicals, lavender remains the only floral, while alongside Timut and cubeb pepper, rare and aromatic varieties such as Voatsiperifery and Sansho were introduced. Each citrus fruit is distilled separately and later blended, preserving their most authentic nuances. The result is a gin with a vibrant and balanced profile, where lively citrus notes interweave with spices, flowers, and local honey, creating an elegant, refined, and multi-layered spirit.
