In 2023, the Sakurao Distillery launched The Sakurao White Herbs Gin, a limited edition created to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the new distillery, established within the historic Sakurao Brewery and Distillery, now fully dedicated to the production of gin and single malt whisky.
Presented in a refined total white bottle, this special gin is based on the recipe of The Sakurao Gin Original, enriched with seven new botanicals inspired by the elegance of a bouquet of gratitude, conceived to express thanks to all who have supported the distillery’s journey.
The added botanicals not only enhance the olfactory and tasting experience but also carry profound symbolic meaning: lemon leaf represents sincere love, white rose pure love, vanilla immortality, elderflower beauty, marjoram happiness, cloves respect, and lavender devoted love. The result is a harmonious gin, where the dry and structured character of the base fuses with an enveloping floral sweetness and an aromatic complexity that delivers elegance, balance, and a surprisingly emotional sensory profile.

Juniper emerges discreetly, providing structure and depth, while hints of balsamic tones, delicate herbal notes, and subtle touches of green tea bring freshness, balance, and a pleasant verticality to the bouquet.
Palate: Fresh, direct, and harmonious on the palate, with a balanced structure where the bright liveliness of citrus merges with the spiced smoothness of ginger and cloves. Vanilla adds a creamy, enveloping sweetness, while the herbal notes contribute a subtle freshness and a slightly resinous nuance, accompanying the sip with elegance and continuity, leaving a sense of depth and purity.
