The Red Door Classic Gin is a handcrafted London Dry produced in small batches inside the historic Benromach Distillery, in the Scottish Highlands. It is distilled using a traditional copper pot still called “Peggy,” with a vapor-infusion method that gently extracts the purest aromas from the selected botanicals.
Its recipe masterfully balances five classic botanicals – juniper, lemon peel, bitter orange peel, coriander seeds, and angelica root – which give structure and character to the gin, in the tradition of London Dry. What makes the formula unique, however, are three locally inspired botanicals that evoke the wild nature of Scotland: heather, which blooms on the Highland hills, rowan berries, typical of Scottish forests, and sea buckthorn, a coastal plant with a tart and fruity profile.
The result is an elegant and well-balanced gin, where the dry, citrusy base intertwines harmoniously with floral and fruity notes, offering an authentic experience that conveys the character of its land of origin.

Colour: Clear, crystalline.
Nose: Intense and vibrant aromas open with dominant notes of juniper and bitter orange, accompanied by a herbal and slightly floral fragrance reminiscent of Scottish heather. In the background, hints of balsamic and citrusy sea buckthorn emerge, with a delicate freshness that anticipates the complexity on the palate.
Palate: On the palate, the gin is elegant and beautifully balanced, with a classic structure and aromatic richness that combines clean citrus notes with the bitter and toasted nuances of rowan berries. Angelica adds depth and a slightly earthy touch, while sea buckthorn and heather complete the profile with fresh, herbal accents.
Finish: Long, dry, and rich, with a pleasant sweet-bitter persistence. It closes with notes of dark chocolate and liquorice.
