Created to capture the essence of Portofino, it combines 21 carefully selected botanicals chosen for their natural aromatic properties, some hand-picked from gardens on the hills overlooking the village: juniper, lemons, lavender, rosemary, marjoram, sage, iris, rose, and other local ingredients, all blended into a secret recipe with an unmistakable character.
The distillate is produced in a historic Italian distillery, just two hours from the Portofino Dry Gin estate, where artisanal tradition and innovation come together in perfect harmony. Each botanical is distilled separately in a traditional copper still still used for local liqueurs and grappas, while a modern vacuum Rotavapor preserves the most delicate aromas. The result is a gin that encapsulates in every drop the timeless charm of the Mediterranean maquis and the Italian savoir-faire.
