The Pomo Juicy Gin is the latest creation by Pure Sardinia, crafted entirely on the island. Among all the gins produced by the company, this is without a doubt the most original and surprising: an unconventional distillate that astonishes with its intense and unusual—at least for a gin—green tomato notes.
Its base is composed of wild juniper berries and native Sardinian botanicals such as thyme and wormwood, infused in molasses-based alcohol and slowly distilled in a copper pot still, using a discontinuous method, for about 10 hours.
The result is a gin with a bold, distinctive aromatic profile that reflects the strength and simplicity of the Mediterranean scrub. What makes it truly unique is the final touch: an infusion of green tomato berries, which brings a surprising vegetal freshness and a distinctive aromatic complexity.
