The Nerabus Heather Navy Gin, produced by the only distillery on Islay entirely dedicated to gin, is made with the same botanical combination as The Nerabus Heather Gin. It contains nine main botanicals, including juniper, citrus, sweet almond, and an infusion of wild heather, hand-picked from the island’s peat moorlands.
Bottled at 57% ABV, in keeping with the tradition of Navy Strength gins, it delivers a more intense and profound aromatic profile. Juniper is bold, heather provides floral and balsamic tones, while citrus and spice notes are amplified and persistent, offering a deeper, more enveloping tasting experience. Produced in small batches on the Scottish island of Islay, renowned for its unspoiled landscapes, this gin captures the very essence of the land.

Nose: Intense and enveloping, opening with an explosion of wild heather, followed by a heart of balsamic juniper and citrus peels. A light note of sweet almond emerges in the background, softening the initial impact.
Palate: The Navy Strength proof enhances the gin’s structure. Juniper is bold yet balanced, accompanied by rich floral notes of heather and spicy nuances. Candied citrus and almond blend into a full and complex body, with a velvety texture despite the high strength.
Finish: Long, warm, and persistent, with an elegant return of flowers, white pepper, and lemon peel. The purity of Islay water contributes to a surprisingly harmonious and clean finish.
