From Nerabus, a small village on the western side of Islay in Scotland — and the namesake of the gin range — comes the distillery’s second release, launched in September 2021. Like the Nerabus Heather Gin, it is based on a combination of nine main botanicals, including juniper, citrus, and sweet almond, but instead of heather infusion, it features hand-picked gorse. This plant, with its bright yellow blossoms, begins to color the island as early as February and is used here in infusion.
The Nerabus Gorse Gin offers a softer, more delicate profile, with sweet floral aromas and a pleasant hint of almond and herbs, bottled at 40% ABV.

Nose: A light, floral profile, enriched with elegant citrus notes and sweet almond, perfectly balanced on a solid juniper base, which remains the star.
Palate: Juniper opens the tasting, followed by subtle floral notes of gorse. Mid-palate, well-judged spicy nuances emerge, accompanied by a gentle almond sweetness and an elegant return of gorse on the close.
Finish: Clean and harmonious, with light sweetness and well-balanced spice notes, leading to a pleasantly persistent finish.
