Le Gin de Christian Drouin is born in Normandy, a land renowned for Calvados production and home to the historic Maison Drouin. From this long heritage in apple distillation comes a gin with unmistakable character, created from an alcohol base obtained from 30 different varieties of apples, which lends roundness and freshness, intertwining beautifully with the intensity of juniper.
This unique foundation is complemented by seven carefully selected botanicals designed to enhance and balance the harmony between cider apples and juniper: lemon, ginger, vanilla, cinnamon, rose petals, almond, and cardamom. Each is distilled separately before being expertly blended. The result is a refined and elegant spirit that combines the fruitiness of apple with the complexity of fresh, spicy, and floral aromas, produced in just 2,850 bottles per year.
The packaging creates a direct link between the world of Calvados and that of gin: Christian Drouin’s signature and the wax-sealed closure emphasize the artisanal and traditional nature of the product. With its distinctive and original style, Le Gin de Christian Drouin serves as a perfect bridge between Norman tradition and innovation, designed to impress whether enjoyed neat, in classic cocktails, or in more sophisticated pairings.
