Kintyre Gin is a handcrafted Scottish gin produced by Beinn an Tuirc Distillers, a family-run distillery located in the heart of the Kintyre peninsula, on the wild west coast of Scotland. Inspired by the unspoiled nature and rich biodiversity of the region, this gin is born from a skillful selection of local botanicals.
The Kintyre Gin includes 12 botanicals in its main expression, all sourced sustainably. To achieve the characteristics of an extremely flavorful and balanced spirit, the gin is composed of 10 commonly used botanicals, with the addition of 2 exclusive ones, namely Icelandic moss and wood sorrel, both abundantly grown on the estate. Through maceration or vapor infusion, these produce a gin described as earthy and spicy, with an intense flavor and a very pleasant floral aroma. A true taste of Kintyre!
