In this special edition, J.Rose dresses up for the occasion: a colorful bottle featuring a palette inspired by the sensual and refined world of the Maestro of Eros, a coordinated stopper and decorative dagger, and a logo composed of 80 symbols — one for each year of the artist’s life.
The edition also includes a scenic touch: an LED light base designed to highlight the bottle’s design and finishes in displays or showcases. The label, featuring an original illustration inspired by an iconic 19th-century artwork and reinterpreted by Manara in his unmistakable style, turns the bottle into a true collector’s piece.
Beyond its aesthetic allure, the essence of the classic J.Rose London Dry Gin remains unchanged. Distilled using the traditional method in a 200-liter Müller still, it is made with neutral grain spirit and nine selected botanicals, including juniper, bergamot, mandarin peel, and prickly pear flower. The result is a gin with a complex and enveloping aromatic profile, expressing Mediterranean freshness and structural depth, perfectly balancing citrus brightness, floral nuances, and toasted undertones.
The bottle is sold without a case; however, the J.Rose metal case is available separately for €6.50.

Nose: Warm, enveloping, and richly layered. Dominant juniper notes blend with lively citrus nuances from bergamot and mandarin peel, adding freshness and harmony. The floral and fruity aroma of prickly pear flower brings a delicate and unexpected softness, while elegant toasted hints reminiscent of hazelnut and walnut close the aromatic experience with depth and refinement.
Palate: Warm and velvety on entry, with a smooth and rounded texture. Citrus notes refresh the sip, while juniper asserts itself with precision. The prickly pear flower returns with a fruity and floral aftertaste, harmoniously merging with the toasted, woody notes of oak bark. The overall impression is balanced, elegant, and persistent, finishing with a subtle balsamic touch.
Finish: Long and harmonious, with lingering soft spices, toasted wood, and a fruity-floral echo that completes the gin’s refined balance.
