The Cambridge Japanese Gin is part of the prestigious Cambridge Distillery Collection, a line renowned for using extraordinary raw ingredients sourced worldwide and elevated through innovative processes to craft exclusive gins. It represents a sophisticated meeting between English distilling artistry and the elegance of Japanese tradition.
The Japanese botanicals accompanying the juniper are distilled individually using a rotary evaporator, a vacuum technique that maximises flavour extraction while preserving freshness before blending. The vibrant zest of yuzu, the aromatic fragrance of shiso, the warmth of toasted white sesame and the fine spice of sanshō pepper thus express themselves in their purest form, contributing to the gin’s elegant and refined balance.
The result is a bright and complex gin where citrus freshness intertwines with herbal notes and delicate spice, perfectly harmonised with juniper’s elegance. Internationally awarded, it offers a unique sensory journey, uniting East and West. Perfect for sipping neat to appreciate every nuance, it shines in a refined Martini with a Japanese twist, enhanced by a light, modern vermouth.

Colour: Clear, crystalline.
Nose: Opens with fresh, citrus and spicy notes in refined balance, followed by elegant pepper nuances and a slightly sweet, warming hint reminiscent of fresh ginger.
Palate: Elegantly smooth; the entry is dry and spicy, lifted by a freshness akin to peppermint. The structure is round and harmonious, free of harsh alcohol edges. Toasted sesame and sanshō emerge in the mid-palate, adding depth and character.
Finish: Closing with lemon peel notes and a juniper presence of earthy, spicy character, leaving the palate clean and refreshed.
