In this special edition, the Adamus Organic Dry Gin undergoes a short maturation in oak casks previously used for wine of the Baga grape variety, typical of Portugal’s Bairrada region.
The project, overseen by master distiller Rui Cruz, represents a true innovation: it is in fact the world’s first gin aged in ex-Baga barriques. This choice enhances the distillate with remarkable aromatic complexity, amplifying the spicy notes already present in the original recipe and imparting almond nuances and a velvety mouthfeel. At the heart of this Signature Edition remains the recipe of Adamus Organic Dry Gin, composed of 18 carefully selected botanicals, including juniper, Baga grapes, lavender, hibiscus, cardamom, ginger, lemon, orange, cinnamon, and sage. A perfect union of tradition, terroir, and innovation.

Color: Amber.
Nose: The aroma is intense and complex, with a bouquet combining dried fruit, warm spices, and candied notes. Clear citrus tones emerge, alongside balsamic nuances and a vegetal freshness reminiscent of forest and pine needles. All is wrapped in subtle hints of exotic woods and oak from the Baga wine casks.
Palate: On the palate, the gin is noble and elegant, with a velvety entry that highlights the union of juniper and dried fruit, enriched by a luxurious almond sensation. The barrel aging adds depth and roundness, while the spicy notes emerge gradually without ever overpowering the overall balance.
Finish: Long, enveloping, and persistent, with returns of mint, resin, and balsamic notes, giving a fresh, decisive close with exotic elegance.
