L'Edinburgh Seaside Coastal Dry non è un semplice gin, ma un’esperienza che vi vuole portare sulle spiagge scozzesi, grazie al perfetto equilibrio tra fresche note marine e botaniche aromatiche.
Nato inizialmente come edizione limitata, è oggi parte integrante della gamma principale del marchio. Realizzato in collaborazione con l’International Centre for Brewing & Distilling della Heriot-Watt University, viene prodotto in piccoli lotti attraverso macerazione e infusione a vapore.
La ricetta prevede nove botaniche di cui sei classiche tra cui ginepro, grani del paradiso, coriandolo e cardamomo e tre raccolte a mano lungo le coste vicino a Edimburgo: alghe quercia marina (bladderwrack), coclearia medicinale (scurvy grass) e edera terrestre (ground ivy), che donano al distillato la sua inconfondibile identità costiera.

Nose: Fresh and lively, with green and herbal notes reminiscent of sea air. Delicate hints of seaweed emerge, alongside light floral aromas and a subtle mineral touch evoking the coastal breeze.
Palate: Balanced and complex: juniper and citrus open the way to rich coastal notes with a distinct umami character, complemented by a sweet minerality and earthy, herbal nuances. A gentle spice adds depth and harmony to the sip.
Finish: Warming and enveloping, with herbal returns blending into a soft spiciness. The closure is savoury and mineral, with a subtle yet persistent saline note that enhances its authentic coastal soul.
